Lee Suttner

 

Lee Suttner is the Robert Shrock Emeritus Professor of Geological Sciences at Indiana University, Bloomington. Prior to retirement he served 7 years as Department Chair and 3 years as Associate Dean of the College of Arts and Sciences at Indiana University. He was a member of the GSA Council from 1985-87, and has chaired and served on a number of GSA Committees. Lee was Chairman of the GSAF Board of Trustees from 2002-2004, and is currently the Interim Treasurer of the Foundation. His research focused on the tectonic and climatic controls on the genesis of sand and sandstone.
